Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Checking departures, arrivals, late checkouts and VIPs report.
  • Checking mode of payment for every guest.
  • Checking arrivals list to anticipate guest needs and preferences.
  • Preparing for group arrivals by preprinting registration cards and arranging a special checking in desk.
  • Handling guest complaints.
  • Attending to guests timely.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:

  • Certificate in Front Office Operations from any institution recognized by NCHE.
  • A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credit in English.
  • 2-years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Thorough and pay attention to detail character.
  • Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand people’s reactions.
