WAITERS/WAITRESSES

Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning the restaurant at the beginning of every shift.
• Serving drinks and food to guests according to individual guest orders.
• Laying up tables with clean linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware in accordance with menu of the day.
• Welcoming guests
• Taking orders from guests.
• Presenting bills to guests.
• Interacting with guests during and after service to get feedback
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:

• Certificate in Food and Beverage Service from any institution recognized by NCHE
• A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in English and Mathematics.
• 3 years’ experience in a related capacity.
• Possess a good command of English language.
• Cordial and hospitable character.
• Observant and attentive skills.
