Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.
DRIVERS
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning and washing all Company motor vehicles.
- Checking availability of spare tyre and tools in the vehicles
- Checking levels of fuel, oil, engine coolant, tyre pressure and brake fluid in all vehicles.
- Checking vehicle licenses, certificate of fitness and insurance validity.
- Collecting and delivering hotel employees, guests and any other assigned trips
- Recording of trips in the logbook.
- Reporting any defect or damage of vehicles.
Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:
- A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
- Valid Passenger Service Vehicle Driving License.
- 3 years’ experience.
- Basic motor vehicle mechanical skills.
- Cordial and hospitable character.
- Flexibility to work during odd hours, including weekends.
- Responsible, caring attitude and mature personality.
