Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.

PLUMBER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Attending to trouble reports on plumbing system in the hotel.
• Repairing and replacing all pipes.
• Cleansing grease taps, drainages and kitchen extraction hood.
• Checking and repairing all plumbing accessories as and when required.
• Checking functionality of water tanks and boilers.
• Servicing water pumps/motors in the boiler rooms, fish pond, laundry equipment and swimming pool regularly.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, skills, competences and attributes desired:

• Grade 3 National Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing.
• A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
• 3 years’ relevant experience in Plumbing, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Timekeeper, punctual and trustworthy character.
• Profound technical services proficiency.
