SENIOR SALES MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning, developing and executing the sales strategy plans for the hotels in liaison with Head of Sales, Marketing & Distribution.
• Overseeing management of portfolios of high profile accounts and providing them with a first class account management service.
• Identifying major segments and business drivers to each unit to arrive at optimum rates and occupancies.
• Managing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals, reviewing and analyzing sales performances against programs and plans.
• Developing and maintaining strategic long-term trusting relationships with high volume clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
• Coordinating and participating in business performance reviews and isolating key factors affecting the trading results for each hotel accordingly for “fix it” strategies.
• Monitoring and collecting monthly external and internal business environment data and competitor activity information.
• Carrying out reviews and managing the product overview and portfolio of the Group.
• Developing and recommending product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
• Ensuring an aggressive lead generation strategy for new, and dormant business across all segments.
• Growing and effective Management of Sunbird Loyalty Program-The Sunbird Premier Club.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or related field from any institution recognised by NCHE.
• Must possess and demonstrate exceptional Sales knowledge
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position at
  Managerial level.
• Previous hotel experience and travel industry is an added advantage.
• A prolific communicator.
