AHL Tobacco Sales Limited, a subsidiary of AHL Group Plc is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill vacant positions of IT Officers to be based at AHL Tobacco Sales Head Office in Lilongwe and at Mzuzu Auction Floors.

Position Function

The overall function of the IT Officer is to manage the company’s database and provide ICT support services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities or duties will include the following: –

1. Installing, configuring and maintaining computer software
2. Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware
3. Managing database and providing ICT support services
4. Carrying out network installation and configuration
5. Entering data and generating various reports from time to time
6. Monitoring and trouble-shooting system and network problems
7. Diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults
8. Any other duties assigned from time to time

Experience

At least three (3) years’ hands-on experience working in ICT environment preferably in a busy office.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science Degree in ICT or Computer Science obtained from an accredited and reputable institution.
