MANAGER, ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing strategies and initiatives that enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of the Bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, among other responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements organization-wide strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with HR and senior leadership to develop and implement talent management and succession planning strategies.
  • Assesses and recommends changes to organizational structure, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Designs and maintains the methodology for the job creation and the job evaluation
  • Leads change management initiatives, including communication plans, to ensure smooth implementation of organizational changes.
  • Analyzes and evaluates training and development programs to measure their impact and effectiveness.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to managers and employees on organizational development matters, including performance management and career development.
  • Staysup-to-date with industry trends and best practices in organizational development and implement relevant strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborates with external consultants and vendors as needed to support organizational design and development initiatives.
  • Conducts regular audits of the organizational structure and recommends changes to make the organization more efficient
  • Provides subject matter expertise on Organizational Design and Development principles and industry best practice.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in Managing HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Developed and implemented talent acquisition strategies based on workforce planning and assessment of candidates.
  • Designed and implemented leadership development, employee training and succession planning to enhance skills and capabilities to meet organisational goals.
  • Managed change initiatives and organisational transformation.
  • Measured employee engagement, addressed areas for improvement and implemented measures to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Recruited, trained and developed talent to build a high-preforming team aligned with organisational goals.
  • Experience in Regulatory compliance, Leadership and team management, Customer focus and Strategic planning.
