AVIATION DEPOT OPERATOR (BLANTYRE)

Puma Energy Malawi Limited is an associate company of Puma Energy, which is a subsidiary of Trafigura Beheer B.V – one of the world’s independent commodity traders. It is owned by a local conglomerate, Press Corporation PLC and Puma Energy on a 50-50 basis. Puma Energy’s activities in the midstream sector include the supply, storage and transportation of petroleum products.

We are currently hiring for a position of Aviation Depot Operator based at Chileka Airpot. Below details of the position;

1) Purpose of the position
Operate fuel storage facility and into-plane activity whilst maintaining the PUMA ENERGYQuality Control and Operating Standards, the position operates sophisticated, high cost mobile and fixed equipment in carrying out these tasks. In addition, the position is a front-line contact with the customer and Airport authorities.

2) Education and experience requirements
To be successful on this position, the candidate should possess the following;

• Malawi School Certificate of Education
• Heavy Duty Licence applicable to the vehicles that s/he will be required to drive, supported by minimum 5 years proven, incident free experience
• Work experience in a technical field including on airport work is an added advantage.

Aircraft refuelling skills are not freely available in the market therefore the individual will be trained for
