Job Description Coca-Cola Beverages Malawi Limited (CCBML) has an exciting opportunity in our Commercial department. We are looking for agile talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for a Sales Team Leader role at our various regions across Malawi (Southern, Central and Northern). The successful candidates will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Purpose Statement

To deliver Volume and Revenue growth in all channels, grow customer base and manage accounts. Brilliant execution and sales through their Sales Representatives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager with regards to delivery, implementation and measurement of performance based on the business plans.
  • Support regional sales in development of capability in clear understanding of the channel strategy and execution criteria through regular trade visits, one on one interactions with customers and what their needs are.
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly meetings with Sales Reps and Regional Sales Manager to determine promotional grids, review business performance and identify opportunities.

Key Outputs and Accountabilities

  • Maximizes allocation of resources in area of execution
  • Manages and measures sales targets daily and takes corrective action with team
  • Coach and Lead
  • Trade and Outlet Execution, Outlet Development and Quality Management
  • Partner with Sales Reps, Account Developers and customers to develop and execute a customer specific business plan
  • Monitor competitive activities
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance to Quality Standards and Manage Trade Replacements
  • Order Generation, calculation and capturing
  • Builds personal relationship with customers
  • Identifies competitor activities and develops and implements response tactics
Skills, Experience & Education Skills

  • Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)

Judgement and decision making

  • Must be able to think on their feet and have swift resolution periods of 24 – 48hours.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Business Administration or Marketing Diploma/Degree
  • Business and marketing acumen.
  • 2-3 years experience in Marketing/Sales.
