CUSTOMER CONSULTANT

LOCATION: Lilongwe Branch

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Back-Office Supervisor, The Customer Consultant is responsible for providing customer care services to clients, in the Savings department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain an environment that promotes a level of care that makes customers feel welcomed, significant and engaged.
• Creation of Deposit Accounts
• Registration of clients for account opening and ensuring KYC compliance (updating KYC data)
• Responsible for branch enquires
• Registering and attending to customers queries
• Provide daily weekly and monthly reports on business ie accounts opened and closed
• Cross selling of products
• Directs customers to respective officer or right channel
• Issues marketing tools such as fliers to customer

Qualification and experience Requirements

• A minimum of Diploma in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or related fields
• A Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial or Microfinance Banking operations is a requirement
• Good time management
• Good presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Independent and honest worker
• Strong organizational skills
• Problem solving and results oriented
• Proactive and responsive
