Position: BEAUTY THERAPIST – BLANTYRE

Workforce Recruitment Services (WRS), on behalf of its client, is looking for a well-experienced, professional, and customer-focused Beauty Therapist to join their team in Blantyre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of professional beauty and personal-care treatments while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and client satisfaction.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for, among other duties:

• Providing professional body and facial massage services.
• Performing manicures and pedicures to a high professional standard.
• Providing professional waxing and threading services.
• Performing facial and other general beauty treatments as required.
• Consulting with clients to understand their beauty and personal-care needs.
• Recommending appropriate treatments and beauty-care products to clients.
• Ensuring clients are comfortable and receive a professional and pleasant experience.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organized treatment environment.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and properly maintaining beauty tools and equipment.
• Following appropriate health, safety, and hygiene standards during all treatments.
• Maintaining professional standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Handling clients with courtesy, patience, discretion, and professionalism.
• Maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
• Keeping appropriate records of treatments and client requirements where necessary.
• Staying informed about current beauty treatments, techniques, and industry trends.
• Performing any other duties related to the position as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants should possess:

• A recognized Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or related qualification from a reputable institution.
• Proven experience working as a Beauty Therapist or in a similar position.
• Practical experience and demonstrable competence in:
  • Massage
  • Manicure and pedicure
  • Waxing
  • Threading
  • Facial and general beauty treatments
• Good knowledge of beauty treatment procedures, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional, presentable, friendly, and customer-focused personality.
