Ntcheu District Council with funds from the European Union (EU) through the European Commission is implementing a 54-month action titled “Better Preservation, Restoration and Regeneration of the Natural Resource Base and its Diverse Ecosystems/ Ulimi ndi Chilengedwe ‘Malawi (UCHI)” project. The project is being implemented in Ntcheu (T/As Ganya, Njolomole, Masasa and Chakhumbira) across 16 Village Development Committees (VDCs) in Ntcheu district.
The project aims to improve water retention, forest and agriculture productivity through effective community land use planning and integrated catchment management, adaptive to climate change and disaster risk management in Livulezi catchment.”
The project has budgeted funds intended to procure a motor vehicle for the project from reputable international suppliers and dealers:

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Law and Regulations of the Government of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders. Bidders must be registered with the relevant authorities as a condition of contract award.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ntcheu District Council and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 6(a) from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm weekdays only.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at 6(c) at or before 10:00 am on 30th September 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 6(d) at 10:00 am, 30th September 2026.
