Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an HR Officer, based in Lilongwe, Malawi. The HR Officer will handle day-to-day human resources activities, including implementing HR policies and managing employee relations. Responsibilities will involve drafting job descriptions, ensuring compliance with HR procedures, and supporting the recruitment and onboarding process. The HR Officer will also play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and addressing employee concerns.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HR Management and understanding of Human Resources (HR) practices
- Experience in developing and implementing HR Policies and Job Description Development
- Strong skills in Employee Relations and conflict resolution
- Understanding of labor laws and compliance regulations in Malawi
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic team
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPD or SHRM) is an added advantage
