Vacancy – Tyre Fitter (x2)
Location 1: Kaombe Sugarcane Estate, Nsanje District, Southern Region, Malawi.
Location 2: Sande Sugarcane Estate, Chikwawa District, Southern Region, Malawi.
Job Summary
We are seeking to employ a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our workshop team at Kaombe Sugar Estate and Sande Sugar Estate. As a Workshop Handyman, you will be responsible for fitting vehicle tyres, fixing irrigation pivot tyres, and performing general workshop duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fit and repair tyres for cars, lorries, motorbikes, and irrigation pivots.
- Mend punctures.
- Assist with general workshop duties, including maintenance and repairs.
- Work as part of a team to ensure workshop operations run smoothly.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management.
- Work flexible hours, including odd hours, in remote areas as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Malawi School Certificate of Education or equivalent.
- More than 3 years’ experience in tyre fitting and repair.
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop environment.
- Valid driver’s license is added advantage.
