EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Prime Insurance Company Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill two vacant positions of Assistant Paralegal Officer tenable at Blantyre Office.
Job Purpose:
Provide essential support to lawyers and legal team by conducting research, preparing documents, organizing files, and managing various administrative tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist lawyers in preparing for trials and hearings
- Conduct legal research to support a legal proceeding, to formulate a defense, or to initiate legal action
- Ensuring that legal claims submitted are registered according to the Company claims procedure manual
- Ensuring that Writ of Summons and other legal documents served on the company are submitted to lawyers without delay
- Maintain and organize case files and documentation
- Coordinate and manage schedules, appointments and deadlines Prepare reports and correspondence under lawyer’s direction

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A Diploma in Law from a recognized institution of higher learning and accredited by the National council of higher education (NCHE).
- Two years’ work experience and understanding of the insurance industry and environment
- A good MSCE with credits in Mathematics and English
