VACANCY ADVERT – Renewable Energy Engineer

We are hiring a Renewable Energy Engineer who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating solar PV and other related works.

Renewable Energy Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving renewable solar instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial and domestic purposes.
  • Responsible for system design and development i.e. solar panels, from concepts to operational phases ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of renewable energy systems to maximize output and efficiency
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to design and implement renewable energy projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all designs meet industry-specific environmental regulations and standards for safety and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with environmental engineers to integrate sustainable practices into the design and construction of renewable energy systems.
  • Supervising or training project team members.
  • Estimating material, Labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
  • Preparation of Operational and Procedural Manual for end users.
  • Preparation of training manuals and training of end users.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of science in Renewable Energy or equivalent from recognised institution.
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in solar power plant projects
  • Able to read and write and speak fluently in Contract Language (English).

      Specific Experience:

  • Three (3) projects as Renewable Energy Engineer in the last Seven (7) years
  • Experience in solar energy system design, installation and commissioning of water supply pumping equipment
