ACG has been engaged to hire on behalf of its client, a Farm located in Mangochi, for the following positions:

1. Human Resource and Administration Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews
    • Assist in onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
    • Monitor attendance and leave records accurately
    • Help manage HR documents such as contracts, warning letters, and appraisal forms
    • Support daily administrative operations including filing, correspondence, and inventory control
    • Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information
    • Coordinate office logistics, supplies, and communication among departments
    • Assist in organising meetings, staff trainings, and internal communications

    • Excellent organisation and time management skills
    • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable
    • Able to multitask and work with minimal supervision

Experience & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support
  • Knowledge of Malawi labour laws and HR best practices is an advantage

2. Stores Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials
  • Issue stock and supplies based on authorised requisitions
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records and inventory systems
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with records
  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, and safe handling of all stock items
  • Report low stock levels and assist in preparing purchase requisitions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the stores area
  • Support auditing processes related to inventory management

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Good numeracy and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow procedures
  • Physically fit and able to lift/store items as required

Experience & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, or Business Administration or in a related field
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar stores or inventory role
  • Familiarity with stock management systems or manual inventory controls
  • Experience in an agricultural or farm environment is an added advantage
