POSITION: ENGINEER (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 10 years relevant working experience in asphalt pavements road construction. Experience in general project management would be an added advantage. The incumbent must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-motivated individual and computer literate. At the Project Site, the Engineer will be the overall in-charge of all site personnel, equipment and materials.
POSITION: SITE AGENT (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 10 years relevant working experience in road construction projects. The incumbent must have good knowledge of earthworks and pavements. In addition, the incumbent must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-motivated individual and be able to work long hours and with minimum supervision.
POSITION: ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 5 years relevant working experience in analysing bid documents, bills of quantities and construction drawings and in preparation of tender documents. Experience in general project management would be an added advantage.
The incumbent must be a team player and detail oriented and must have excellent oral and written communication, time management, analytical and reporting skills, and be computer literate. At the office, the AQS willi be in-charge of maintaining contract documentation, fees related to all organisational construction activities.
POSITION: MATERIALS TECHNICIAN (1 POSITION)
Minimum Qualifications and skills:
Must possess a minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering, or any related field from a recognised institution.
Experience and skills:
Must have more than 10 years hands-on experience in roads construction projects particularly in the sampling and testing of materials used in earthworks as well as bituminous pavements, as well as preparation of relevant reports. Experience in inspection of road construction works will be an added advantage.
Incumbent must be self-motivated and computer literate, and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
POSITION: SITE FOREMEN (2 POSITIONS)
Minimum Qualifications and skills:
Must have NCIC foremanship certification, Trade test certificate Grade I in Roads Construction.
Experience and skills:
Traceable with more than 10 years in road construction works particularly in bituminous pavements and on earthworks. Must also possess experience in associated concrete works and site supervision, with good numerical skills, be able to read and interpret technical drawings and to work long hours and with minimum supervision.
