Qualifications and Attributes
Applicants should possess the following qualification and attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain and Logistics or any relevant field.
- MIPS Professional Qualification
- Must be a member of MIPS
- 3 years’ work experience in a similar position
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participating in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of procurement activities;
- Preparing procurement reports;
- Processing procurement documents;
- Managing the bidding process;
- Managing the assets disposal process;
- Determining product specifications and Terms of Reference in liaison with Heads of Departments;
- Providing procurement-related advisory services to all line managers and users;
- Maintaining procurement records;
- Managing contract administration to ensure delivery of goods/services is in accordance with the contract terms and user requirements;
- Researching market trends on key product prices, availability, and suppliers
- Drafting contract documents, orders, and similar documents in accordance with IPC instructions
- Attending to client’s queries;
- Preparing and submitting relevant reports and records to PPDA;
- Servicing internal procurement committee
