Role Purpose:

The Data and Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing FINCA’s data, developing pricing strategies, and supporting decision-making processes to optimize profitability and competitive positioning. This role involves market research, data modeling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing aligns with business goals.

Key Result Areas & Duties:

  1. Data Analysis:
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into performance metrics.
  • Conduct predictive analytics to forecast market trends and pricing outcomes.
  1. Pricing Strategy:
  • Design and implement pricing models and strategies for products or services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for pricing adjustments to increase profitability.
  1. Market Research:
  • Perform competitor analysis to benchmark pricing and positioning.
  • Stay updated on market trends and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
  1. Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Provide actionable insights to stakeholders based on data findings.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, pricing strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience in a financial institution or similar industry is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Python,
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of pricing models and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
