ADMARC Limited Company was established as Statutory Corporation in 1971 under Chapter 67.03 of the Laws of Malawi. The Act was repealed in 2003. Following that, ADMARC was incorporated  as a Limited Liability Company, under the Companies Act. The repeal saw ADMARC Limited becoming a non-subverted Statutory Corporation, but with Government being a major shareholder with  up to 99% shares.

The Board of Directors of ADMARC Limited resolved to overhaul ADMARC Limited by Corporate restructuring. The Board approved new structures for the company with new skills sets to take the  new ADMARC forward. All employees were retrenched.

ADMARC Limited, a Statutory Corporation in Agricultural Marketing is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following position:

Human Resource Assistant (Grade AL 9 based Head Office) Re advertised

Purpose of the Job

To provide assistance in managing human resource in the Company

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining and updating employee personal files and managing filing system and the registry
  2. Assisting in processing employee staff benefits upon retirement, termination, dismissal or death
  3. Opening/preparing new employee files
  4. Compiling submission of monthly Human Resources Reports
  5. Reconciling benefits statements of employees Conducting benefits enrolment for new staff Responding to queries and correspondences
  6. Interpreting human resource policies, Terms and Conditions of Service and related regulations and maintain code of conduct
  7. Implementing personnel decisions such as dismissals, termination, transfers and promotions
  8. Maintaining an up-to-date databank for all employees
  9. Processing of staff leave, advances, and loans
  10. Conducting recruitment and selection of staff
  11. Assisting in managing and handling staff performance appraisals and pensions’ processes
  12. Providing secretarial services to the Disciplinary Committee
  13. Supporting the development of appropriate Human Resource systems and procedures and ensuring compliance by staff

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • MSCE and a Certificate in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration from a recognized institution
  • Knowledge and experience in Pension Management
  • Plus two (2) years’ work experience in similar work
