VNG International implements projects to support local governance and decentralisation. For these projects, we employ experts for both short-and long-term assignments. To expand its network of expertise in Malawi, VNG International is recruiting the following profiles.
Team Leader / Land Administration expert
- University degree in law, land administration, land management, public administration, geography, land use planning, business administration, economics, real estate, land surveying, or another related field.
- 10 or more years of work experience managing highly complex land administration projects involving strengthening land administration institutions responsible for land rights registration, records and information management, and land transaction management.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary land sector projects focused on institutional reform to land administration policies, procedures, business processes, legislation, and institutions.
- Experience managing complex studies and analyses.
- Experience in communicating orally and in writing with various stakeholders, including senior Government officials.
- Excellent diplomacy and cultural awareness and the ability to interact positively with all stakeholders, especially at the ministerial level
- Experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience managing complex land sector projects in Sub-Saharan Africa.
