Are you passionate about driving marketing initiatives and building strong partnerships? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Marketing and Partner Relationship Manager to join our team in Malawi.
This position is responsible for maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with partners, to take strategic direction from the Marketing department in order to implement localized on the ground activation plans with the Country Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, assisting with training and support of new and existing partners as well as identifying marketing opportunities and execution.
Reporting to the Country Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with partners, to take strategic direction from the Marketing department in order to implement localized on the ground activation plans with the Country Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, assisting with training and support of new and existing partners as well as identifying marketing opportunities and execution.
Duties and Responsibilities (Include but is not limited to):
Marketing Campaigns
- Implement digital and social media campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and localized events
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective roll-out plans for activations, roadshows, and other initiatives
- Create compelling support materials including brochures, flyers, scripts, videos, and field communication
- Conduct research on competitors’ promotional activities and market trends
Partnership Management
- Strategically manage the Mukuru Might Wanderers partnership to maximize visibility and engagement
- Foster relationships with new and existing partners, providing training and support for consistent service delivery
- Identify new business opportunities and facilitate negotiations and onboarding of partners
Sales Force Support
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop promotional packages for clients
- Develop promotional materials and ideas for staff events, presentations, and photography
Brand Growth
- Monitor the business environment and proactively identify opportunities to elevate the Mukuru brand
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives for launches of new partners and products
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing or related field
- Professional certification in Marketing
- 2 years’ Experience in Sales
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Knowledge of how to generate marketing collateral
- Knowledge of Mukuru products and services
- Knowledge of customer service
