Vacancy: Security Officer at PressCane Limited
Location: Chikwawa District, Malawi
Company Overview:
PressCane Limited is a key player in Malawi’s energy sector, specializing in ethanol production for petrol blending.
Role Overview:
The Security Officer will report to the Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer and be responsible for ensuring the security of the company’s assets, employees, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and community leaders.
Coordinate with Community Police to bolster local area security. - Manage incident reporting and facilitate insurance claims through liaison with the police.
- Formulate and implement security policies and procedures specific to the ethanol industry.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
- Oversee detailed investigations of security breaches.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Security Management training, with experience in Police or Military roles.
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (M.S.C.E).
- At least 5 years of experience in a security management role.
