POST: PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ANALYST OFFICER
GRADE: G/ M5 Government Salary

REPORTING TO : Director of Human Resource and Administration
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be serving Senior Systems Analysts (Grade H) or Systems Analyst/Programmer (Grade I/M7) with four (4) years’ experience at that grade in Local Authorities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the ICT Team at the Council
- Prepare detailed system requirements, incorporating system, impact analysis as well as user cases
- Conduct reviews with Systems Analysts and other users
- Review technical system design as well as quality authorization
TEST Strategy/ plan documents - Involve and manage change control procedures and issue related list
- Define application problem by liaising with clients
- Develop solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
- Control solution by establishing specifications, coordinating production with programmers
- Provide reference by writing documentation
- Accomplish information systems and Council mission by complying related results as needed.
