
Malawi Electoral Commission
The Malawi Electoral Commission, “the Commission”, is a body corporate created under Section 75(1) of the Constitution, to supervise, direct and preside over the conduct of all elections in Malawi.
In accordance with Section 13 of the Malawi Electoral Commission Act, the Commission seeks to appoint a suitably qualified person with relevant experience to fill the following vacant position within its secretariat.

Key duties & responsibilities
- Managing recruitment, performance and disciplinary hearings for staff
- Monitoring the implementation of human resource policies and procedures
- Implementing HR strategies and initiating a signed with overall strategy plan
- Compiling quarterly reports
- Administering performance and reward management systems
- Ensuring that training and development is done in line with training needs, budget and training policy
- Attending to employee grievances
- Managing compensation and benefits
- Supporting current and future business needs of MEC through development and employee engagement
- Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration from accredited or recognized institution of higher learning
- In addition must have a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
- Malawian Citizen with National ID

Between 30 to 40 years
