Vice Chancellor

DMI-St. John the Baptist University invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who would like to apply for the vacant position of Vice Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, vision, and direction to the university, ensuring its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the university community, guiding strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Oversee the implementation of academic programs and initiatives in alignment with the university’s mission and objectives.
• Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity among students, faculty, and staff.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Manage the university’s resources effectively and transparently, including financial, human, and physical resources.
• Promote a culture of research and scholarship, supporting faculty and student research initiatives.
  Represent the university in external forums and events, enhancing its reputation and visibility.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A doctoral degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in academic leadership roles
• A proven track record of strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.
• Knowledge of higher education policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and promoting diversity and inclusion.
