VEGETABLE SALES EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY

Seed Co Malawi Limited is inviting applications from interested candidates to fill the above position to report to the Vegetable Sales Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Business Administration

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in any middle management product selling position.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB

  1. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions.
  2. Generate sales revenue by selling vegetables seeds to customers
  3. Conducting market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
  4. Collaborate with Sales Agronomists on seed demand and requirements across the country.
  5. Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently and ensuring timely delivery of vegetables seeds to customers.
  6. Attending industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote vegetable seeds, build industry connections, and stay updated on market developments.
  7. Ensuring compliance with seed trading regulations, quality standards, and industry certifications.
  8. Demonstrate, merchandise and present vegetable products

The ideal person should have the following attributes:

  1. Fast learner, passionate and goal oriented
  2. Ability to work in a team and independently.
  3. Valid driver’s licence.
  4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
