Unitrans Malawi Ltd, a prominent employer in the Sugar Cane Logistics industry wants to recruit suitably qualified and experienced OF Malawi Origin to fill the following vacancies tenable at Nchalo Deport in Chikwawa District.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Cane Haulage Manager
- Efficient delivery of sugar cane from fields to mill situated at Nchalo Sugar Estate Proper care and accountability of company property at all times
- Adhere to company safety policies procedures and always promote safety standards
Skills and Knowledge
- Reporting procedure of emergences and defects
- Maximum vehicle cost – effectiveness and efficiency
- Driver actions pertaining to person effectiveness and efficiency son/weather/road traffic conditions
Qualifications and Experience
- Junior Certificate of Education or above
- Must be able to write and read English
- Absolutely NO criminal record
- Willing to work in shifts, during weekends and public holidays
- Driver’s license code CE with category PGD
- A minimum of 3 (three) years hands-on working experience in heavy goods
