Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin not more than 40 years to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Agriculture as follows:-
Post: Mechanic
Grade: M
Salary: Within Grade M Salary scale segment
Location: Various Departments within Min. of Agriculture
Qualification
Applicants should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Trade Test Grade One (1) Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
Duties
i. Carry out day to day maintenance of motor vehicles.
ii. Ordering spare parts of motor vehicles for routine maintenance.
iii. Inspection of motor vehicles in preparation for certificate of fitness examination.
iv. Participating in preparation of Annual budgets.
v. Any other duty assigned by the mechanical foreman.
