Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin not more than 40 years to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Agriculture as follows:-
Post : Library Assistant
Grade : M
Salary: Within Grade M Salary scale segment
Location: Various Departments within Min. of Agriculture
Qualification:
Applicants should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Duties
i. Serving Library materials.
ii. Manning circulation desk and serving library clients
iii. Conducting book search for clients on request.
iv. Introducing persons as library members.
v. Maintaining and filling circulation records.
vi. Tracking movement of library property and due date for return.
vii. Preparing and distributing reminders for overdue library property borrowed by clients.
viii. Photocopy, building and mailing materials.
ix. Collecting penalty fee for overdue property.
x. Preparing and submitting work progress report.
