Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin not more than 40 years to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Agriculture as follows:-
Post : Welder
Grade: M
Salary: Within Grade M Salary scale segment
Location: Various Departments within Min. of Agriculture
Qualification:
Applicants should be in possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) and Trade Test Grade One (1) Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
Duties
i. Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspection report on all welding job.
ii. Compile a list of welding materials for all welding repair.
iii. Be able to use oxy acetylene gas and arc welding gas Machines.
iv. Be able to select the right type of electrodes for different types of work.
v. Maintain and apply safe working practices to prevent Accidents.
vi. Any other duty assigned by the mechanical foreman.
