Applications are invited from suitably qualified, well experienced and mature persons to fill the following available positions at Kamuzu Academy in Mtunthama, Kasungu.

INTERNAL AUDITOR

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out regular audits to ensure internal controls are adhered to.
  • Identify irregularities and potential risks in internal processes and operations.
  • Performing walk-through tests on accounting, stores and procurement systems to assess their compliance with established operational procedures and policies.
  • Producing periodic audit reports for management and Board’s attention.
  • Carry out monitoring and evaluation of compliance to budgets

Minimum requirements:

  • A qualification to Bachelor’s Degree level in Accounting or Auditing
  • Over 3 years demonstrated work experience in a similar capacity.
  • A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors in Malawi
