CREDIT CONTROLLER

To ensure that all debts are properly aged, reconciled, invoices dispatched in time to customers and all due accounts are timely collected to maintain and sustain a debt free environment for Globe Internet Limited Key Responsibilities

  1. Working hand in hand with the Billing Manager, ensure that the assigned accounts are correctly billed, invoices delivered on time and collected when they fall due.
  2. Ensuring that the assigned accounts are up to date, those requiring reconciliation are done in time and correctly aged.
  3. Ensuring that customer details are up to date at all times.
  4. Prepare a weekly plan for debt collection and work towards achieving set weekly targets.
  5. Send reminders to all customers whose invoices are due and overdue for payment at the scheduled intervals as guided by the debt collection policy
  6. Tracking and coordinating all activities occurring within your portfolio of debtors.
  7. Ensure all queries, complaints are professionally handled and resolved in a timely manner.
  8. Tracking payments and making follow ups with Credit Control team on overdue payments.
  9. Tracking, logging and coordinating customer complaints and queries regarding billing, invoices and all debtors’ matters.
  10. Ensure that appropriate reports are prepared as required for easy follow ups, performance tracking and reviews

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High ethical standards, integrity and proficiency in handling financial matters.
  2. 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position of Credit Control.
  3. Minimum of diploma in Accounting is a perquisite for this position
  4. Be prepared to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  5. Be at least 30 years old.

Remuneration
The company shall pay a competitive package commensurate of the position. However, all jobs are commission-based job.

Rewards shall largely be driven by performance.
