WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT – PURPOSE:
The position exists to co-ordinate, organize, carry out general ledger reconciliations and assist with executing month end financial close processes.
WHAT WILL YOU DO – RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General Ledger Reconciliation: Maintaining general ledger entries, ensure correct postings, data accuracy and reconciling financial statements.
- Review of Accounting Postings: Preparing monthly and quarterly workbook reports for group reporting.
- Financial Reporting : Assist with executing month end financial close process.
- Systems: Coordinating the execution of baseline internal controls for key accounts.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR – REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting or Diploma in Accounting with applied Skills level passed for ACCA or CIMA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar job role.
- Proficient accounting systems knowledge preferably in SAP, S/4 HANA, BW and MS Office Applications (MS Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good problem-solving mindset, results-driven and good technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) & Companies Act.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
