POSITION : LAND SURVEYOR
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Carrying out surveys of the environment with construction projects in mind.
- Carrying out project Drawings.
- Working in diverse sectors, such as construction, property, cartography (maps), offshore engineering and exploration.
- Assessing land due for redevelopment.
- Surveying landfill sites, mines, quarries, pipeline systems and more
- Managing and monitoring projects from start to finish.
- Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys
- Verifying data and calculations.
- Recording results of surveys.
- Provide advice and assistance to other departments for various surveys assigned for mapping purposes
- Assist in examining plans, adding new plans when applicable and maintaining a record of every plan that is processed
- Survey and map the proposed roads as well as other facilities within the jurisdiction of the land surveyor
- Perform legal, land use planning surveys for authorities and provide advice and assistance to other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Land surveying, with at least 5years of experience in land surveying.
The applicant will be assigned to our M1 (Jenda-Mzimba) road construction.
