- The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ES C O M ), a state – owned company has budgeted funds for the supply and delivery of various optic fibre parts and materials.
- The corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2025.
4. The goods are procured as a single lot. Bidders must quote for all thirty-one (31) items and for the full quantity of each item; a bidder who fails to quote for any item will be disqualified.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from ESCOM’s Procurement Division at the address in paragraph 9(a) below, from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs and 13:00 to 16:00 hrs local time (Monday to Friday), except national public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at the address in paragraph 9(b) below upon payment of anon-refundable fee of MK20,000.00 or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of paym ent will be cash or bank certified cheque. The document may be collected by the bidder.
7. Bids must be delivered to the Tender Box at the address in paragraph 9(c) below on or before Friday, 20th Novem ber 2026 at 10:00 hours loca l time. Electronic bidd ing will not be perm itted and late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address in paragraph 9(d) below on Friday, 20th November 2026 at 10:30 hours local time.
8. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of USD500,000.00 as specified in the Bidding Documents, or a Bid Securing Declaration ifthe bidder is100% owned by Malawian nationals. The Bid Security must be in the form of a Bank Certified Cheque or Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable bank agreeable to the Purchaser.
