BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

Akros is a cutting edge non-governmental organization that establishes data-driven and technologically appropriate systems to improve the health, social and well-being of disadvantaged communities. We pride ourselves in our ground-level knowledge of the service delivery systems where we work, and our ability to provide novel, lasting solutions implemented in developing regions.

Akros Research is supporting a program funded by the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with the Africa CDC. This initiative called Saving Lives and Livelihoods, brings together multiple components and partners to procure, distribute, and promote vaccine uptake in a safe manner. Akros Research is working with African Union member states in Eastern and Southern Africa, including Malawi, to strengthen vaccine safety surveillance.

Akros plans to procure printing and/or photocopying services to support the implementation of a project activity in Malawi. Akros invites eligible vendors to submit a quotation for printing services based on the terms and conditions specified below:

Terms for the Supply of Goods/Materials (Quotations)

To be eligible for selection, the vendor must:

  • Submit business registration certificate and tax clearance certificate
  • The quotations must be on official quotation format
  • All quotations must clearly state terms of payment
  • Quotations should clearly state the specifications of the goods/materials as provided herein
  • All quotations must clearly state delivery period of goods/materials (preference will be given to vendors who can deliver within 5 days)
  • All quotations shall be submitted electronically to the contact provided below

Printing specifications:

  1. PV Guidelines

Printing specifications for PV guidelines( 300 Copies )
Pharmacovigilance Guidelines booklets, with 35 pages, printed in full colour, A4 size, inside printed on bond paper, cover on 250 gsm gloss art paper, finished with saddle stitching.

  1. AEFI Reporting forms

Printing specifications for AEFI reporting forms (800 booklets)

Reporting Form booklets printed on NCR paper, A4 size, 50 pages, Triplicate, perforated, black and white, finished with quarter binding

The closing date for receiving responses to this RFQ is 17:00 hrs. CAT, on Friday, 25th April 2025. Submissions for the RFQ should be submitted electronically to jnyirenda@akros.com copying wfmpute@akros.com No hard copy submissions will be accepted.
