As we continue to grow, we are looking for an energetic and goal-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to help drive our market expansion.
Position Overview
The Sales and Marketing Officer will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, managing customer relationships, and executing marketing strategies. The successful candidate will support sales targets while ensuring brand visibility and regulatory compliance in packaging and promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new markets and distribution channels for maize flour products
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback and sales data
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy
- Support product pricing, promotions, and visibility initiatives
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with MBS packaging and labelling standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in FMCG or agro-processing
- Familiarity with MBS packaging regulations and food labeling standards is an added advantage
Key Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Digital marketing proficiency, including social media and email campaigns
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet sales targets
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to market development
Remuneration
A competitive salary and commission structure will be offered based on experience and performance.
