PSI Branch Office in Malawi is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions.
Project Coordinator Position – 2 positions available
Reporting to: Programme Manager with dotted line to Technical Advisor
Summary of Job: work closely with the Programme Manager and the Technical Advisor to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for various projects under the programmes team.
Specific responsibilities:
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails
- Communicate with partners and stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- Three or more years of experience in project coordination
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients
- Proven success in with all levels of management
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
