VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

LOCATION: LILONGWE

Green Villages, a local real estate company, that was established to complement Malawi Government’s efforts in providing well-planned land for housing development to urban dwelling Malawians. The company specializes in building new sustainable urban communities at a large scale. The company focuses on developing well-planned, serviced and functional urban communities for the middle- and high-income household.

Green Villages is inviting applications from all suitable candidates to fill in vacant posts of Green Villages Marketing Officer who will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Plan and implement direct marketing approaches including targeting, personalisation of messages and measurability, data analysis, customer profiling and segmentation.
  2. Ensure the brand meets expectations through monitoring marketing trends. iii. Manage the Marketing and communications budget and ensure program milestones related to marketing and communications are achieved.
  3. Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about the company.
  4. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software such as (Adobe InDesign).
  5. Producing valuable and engaging content for our website and various other media channels that attracts and converts our target groups
  6. Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums. viii. Manage various SULSDEC Social Media platforms

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  1. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  2. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any other related field
  3. Familiarity with advanced designing software and tools
  4. Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  5. High integrity & trust worth
  6. Hard working and result oriented
  7. Excellent communication skills
