Evangelical Association of Malawi

Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM) in collaboration with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) with funding from the Joint Tuberculosis, HIV and AIDS Global Fund grant through ActionAid Malawi will be implementing an Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGM) Programme called Kunyadira Utsikana- Project. This is a 3 year project to be implemented in Thyolo District.
Evangelical Association of Malawi would like to recruit the following positions to be based at its Thyolo district office:


The Field Officer for the “Kunyadira Utsikana- Project will be responsible for the community mobilization and delivery of different project activities. The Field Officer would also be responsible for producing activity, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the different community activities. The incumbent will directly work with targeted communities in Thyolo district to facilitate the identification, establishment, running of in-school and out-of-school girls clubs, teen clubs, mothercare groups, and VSL groups.


  • Minimum of a Diploma in Nursing, Social Science, Rural/Community Development or other relevant development studies.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in facilitating rural health development projects including Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), HIV and AIDS, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Village Savings and Loan (VSL) Initiatives.
  • Experience in budgeting, monitoring and evaluation and development of monthly work-plans.
  • Previous experience in riding a motorcycle with valid driver’s licence would be an added advantage.
