Malawi Orthopaedic Association (MOA) is a national impartial and a non-political, non-profitable advisory body that works to promote quality orthopaedic care for all people in Malawi with neuromuscular skeletal deformities and injuries, through provision of scientific forums and support of musculoskeletal research and education of orthopaedic surgeons, orthopedic clinical officers, prosthetic and orthotic technicians. Furthermore, it evaluates, encourages, guides and supports activities related to orthopaedics throughout the country in close collaboration with national and international bodies offering appropriate guidance, support and advice to avoid unwitting duplication of effort and to encourage maximize use of resources.
Job Purpose
The Programme Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the Malawi Orthopaedic Association, overseeing and managing various aspects of our operations to ensure smooth coordination, effective communication, and successful implementation of our projects and initiatives. This role requires a dynamic and organized individual who can collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Administration, Business Studies, Project management.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in project coordination, event management, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
