RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Purpose
Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementation of the Company’s yearly training plan in liaison with departmental heads to guarantee the development of high standard competencies according to departmental needs. The position also handles employee engagement.

Main Responsibilities and Duties
Learning and Development
Talent acquisition
- Training needs analysis, in line with the Airtel Policy, and within budgets
- Designs and implements training programmes as per identified training needs
- Facilitates and administers training programmes within the training calendar
- Timely inducts new employees for their integration in Airtel
- Evaluates Trainers and training programmes for quality control and performance improvement
- Accurately captures and updates data within the Oracle training module
Report Submission
- Weekly and monthly Learning and Development report
- Weekly and monthly Culture Change Team report
Administration and review
- Regularly reviews, recommends and updates Airtel policies
- Administers and interprets Conditions of service
Finance and SCM Department Business Partner
- Serves as first point of contact and provides HR support to Finance department
Project Management
- Organises, supervises Culture Change Team
- Controls budget for Culture Change
- Champions Airtel Employee Engagement initiatives
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Guides and conducts just and fair disciplinary process
- Guides and conducts just and fair grievance procedure
Additional Duties Responsibilities
- Works on projects as assigned from time to time
Essential knowledge and competencies
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of local labour laws and full understanding of Group HR Conditions of service policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Computer literacy i.e. knowledge of Microsoft Office and other HR / Training software and applications
- Results driven and oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Hands on attitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Culture sensitivity and high integrity
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- University degree in HR / Social Sciences / Business Administration
- Training, certification and experience is an added advantage
- At least two years in a similar position
