The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is inviting applications from suitably : qualified and experienced candidates to fill vacant positions existing in its Programmes Directorate as follows:
PRODUCERS/ PRESENTERS – 2ONTHEGO – 5 POSITIONS
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates all aspects of programme production in and outside the studios
- Plans, researches and writes scripts before filming or broadcast
- Produces and presents programs
- Comes up with new ideas and concepts for shows
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
- Diploma in Mass Communication/ Journalism/Media Studies from a reputable institution. A degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
- Two years’ television work experience
- Experience using television equipment, such as cameras and microphones
- Experience in developing programme proposals
- Excellent interviewing and analytical skills
- Experience in research will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly engaging, creative ,versatile and adaptable
- Ability to keep up with industry trends in the media landscape
