A Mid-Sized Audit firm situated in Blantyre is looking for prospective candidates to fill up the following vacancy
AUDIT SENIOR: (1 Post)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage, develop audit teams
- Plan and Oversee external audits for various clients
- Review audit team’s performance, accuracy and compliance in line with Firm’s policies & procedures
- Prepare audit files in line with relevant international accounting/auditing standards and international standards on quality management.
- Ensure that audits are completed in time and files/reports are submitted to the audit manager/partner.
- Prepare management letter and communicate with the clients.
- Make recommendations for solutions and improvements.
- Be a team player.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years’ experience
- Knowledge of an audit software and exposure to CaseWare will be an advantage
- Should have an ACCA /ICAM or remaining with minimum of 2 papers to qualify
- Should have strong analytical skills and excellent in using excel and word.
