Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant post:

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Main Duties:

  • Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers and cheques for signatories
  • Tracking and documenting all LRC Trust revenues, invoices and payments.
  • Compiling payment vouchers and maintaining ledgers.
  • Posting transactions in the ledger on daily basis
  • Maintaining payments and receipt books
  • Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements
  • Assist in paying all office-related bills: rents, utilities, telecoms, email services, and other expenses.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Financial Manager.

Qualifications:
Requirements and qualifications

  • Should posses Diploma in financial accounting from recognised institution.
  • Possession of Computer skills i.e. MS Excel, Word
  • Competence in use of accounting package e.g. QuickBooks an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar office.
  • An excellent team worker.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism, integrity, efficiency and accountability
