Radiographer (2 Positions)

The Department of Radiology, which is managed by Worldwide Diagnostics Limited, is looking for highly-motivated, committed and self-driven person to fill a vacant post available
in the department.


1. Main Duties

  • Report to Radiologist/Chief Radiographer and coordinate with other doctors in special interventional procedures
  • Independently conduct all Computerized Tomography (CT) Scans examinations
  • Carry out all X-ray examinations (Including Special Examinations)
  • Perform all Ultrasound scanning (Including Echo I Doppler/4D/Special Procedures)
  • Supervise, appraise, recruit radiology staff, plan all the activities of the department
  • Participate and Contribute in Hospital/Patient care meetings and activities.
  • Ensure patient safety and give appropriate radiological advice to patients and doctors.
  • To structure the department activities to adhere to all the regulations of Medical Council of Malawi
  • Need to formulate quality assurance programs and Stock management
  • Plan and arrange regular Preventive maintenance with respective Engineers.
  • Conduct practical sessions, assess Intern students and write attachments reports.
  • Ensure that staff carries out radiation protection measures.
  • Performs Fluoroscopy X-rays with efficient.

2. Qualifications

  • B.Tech Degree or Diploma in Radiograph) Ultrasound is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should have worked in a busy Radiology Department preferably at a Central/ District Hospital in similar capacity or supervisory level for not less than 4 years or newly graduates.
  • Valid Registration Medical Council of Malawi is a must.

  • Leadership, with excellent and strong interpersonal communication and managerial skills, to lead the team
  • Dedicated and hard work.
