Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position tenable at Natural Resources College (NRC) in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM)

Senior Lecturer /Lecturer in Veterinary Anatomy

Candidates should have a BVM/BVSc/DVM or its equivalent and postgraduate (MSc/PhD) degree specialising in Veterinary Macroscopic (Gross) and/or Microscopic (Histology) Anatomy in addition to meeting requirements for registration with the Malawi Board of Veterinary Surgery. Candidates should address their ability to meet the following requirements

Experience, attribute and Competencies

  1. A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in the area of veterinary Anatomy preferably at a tertiary level.
  2. Candidates with publications may have an added advantage
  3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the subject area
  4. Demonstrable Commitment to academic excellence in teaching and research
  5. Ability to work as a member of a team
  6. Good communication skills
  7. Ability to work under pressure and to meet given deadlines.
