Management Trainee (Human Resources)


Main purpose of the job is to provide Human Resource Management Service


  • Assists the Registrar in developing HR Systems
  • Coordinate performance management system by ensuring that all staff members have job descriptions
  • Develop and implement staff appraisal calendar
  • Ensure all departments and sectors have up to date staff establishments and that sections and departments do not over recruit.
  • Maintain staff records for all staff in the university
  • Develops staff return
  • Conducts annual need assessment for training
  • Develops and implements training plan
  • Coordinates recruitments of staff members
  • Arranges orientation programs for new staff
  • Processes work permits for expatriate staff
  • Verifies and approve leave days for staff
  • Manages leave roster for all staff
  • Keep record of staff on study leave
  • Follows up on staff who do not return back after completing their studies
  • Coordinate staff welfare matters with Registrar
  • Service Human Resource Committee Meeting such as
    • Appointments and Disciplinary Committee
    • Training Committee
    • Staff Housing Committee
    • Staff Welfare Committee
    • Promotions Committee
    • Integrity Committee
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management
